L'antimilitarisme est un principe d'opposition au militarisme. Le militarisme est l'idéologie d'expansion de l'appareil offensif militaire commandée par le complexe militaro-industriel et accompagné dans leur grand brainwash, par des "thinks tanks". Les antimilitaristes sont très critiques et militent envers l'organisation militaire hiérarchique et autoritaire et les crimes de guerre commis envers nos frères et soeurs voisin(e)s de région, dans l'habitat planétaire où l'on tente tou(te)s de vivre paisiblement.

L'antimilitarisme prône une solidarité des classes du bas envers les rouages du militarisme. Le Complexe militaro-industriel, producteur et commerçant d'armes de guerre, représente un puissant lobby, s'insérant souvent même (Militarisation), dans les ministères des gouvernements. Le commerce des armes est l'un des trois commerces les plus lucratifs dans le monde avec le pétrole et la drogue.

Ce n'est pas un refus de porter des armes, comme peuvent défendre les pacifistes intégraux, car des antimilitaristes rejettent essentiellement la militarisation/militarisme de la société et non l'existence d'armes, qui pourraient être utiles pour l'auto-défense des individus en lutte(face à la répression).

Guerre impérialiste en Afghanistan[edit]

La guerre sale pour le pétrole(Trans-afghan pipeline), à laquelle le Canada, de par son premier ministre néo-conservateur, Stephan Harper, a compensé le déplacement des troupes américaines en Irak. Le Canada tente de faire perdurer l'image d'aide humanitaire de l'armée mais, en vérité, le budget militaire donne à présent une part de reconstruction pour dix dans les opérations militaires. Faut aussi dire que, cette petite partie de reconstruction s'est concentrée surtout sur les ponts qu'avait détruit l'armée et la construction d'une base militaire à Kandahar où l'on retrouve seulement des fast foods et des produits américains, à l'exception d'une petite boutique de souvenir afghan; sales visites! Les médias dispersent une propagande, qui ne laissent pas de doute sur le processus de militarisation de l'état canadien, en tant que petit chien dans la décadence de l'état états-unien.

L'histoire de cette guerre reste aussi frustrante. Elle commence le 11 septembre 2001, quand un attentat terroriste survient. En moins de douze heures, une réponse publique du gouvernement accusera Al-Qaida et Ben Laden de l'attentat. Une vingtaine de jour plus tard, un plan de guerre en Afghanistan avait déjà été réalisé alors que, ces travaux prennent habituellement beaucoup plus de préparation. Avec l'attentat, un climat de peur et d'insécurité a pu justifier l'investissement dans les forces de police et l'armée....
